What is a token-gated event?

A token-gated event uses on-chain verification instead of a ticket list. Guests prove ownership of a specific NFT, token, or POAP by signing a message with their wallet — no email, no scalping, no fake attendees. IRLEvents supports NFT gating, DAO membership, POAP claims, and token-balance minimums across 18 chains including Ethereum, Base, Solana, Polygon, and ApeChain.
